Prep

Diamond Grinding

We grind the entire slab with a planetary diamond grinder to open the pores of the concrete. This creates a mechanical bond — the coating locks into the slab instead of sitting on top.

Repair

Crack & Spall Fill

Cracks are chased out and filled with flexible filler. Spalled or pitted areas are patched. The coating follows the slab — anything not fixed now shows through later.

Layer 1

Base Coat + Flake

The Penntek base coat is applied, then decorative vinyl flake is broadcast to full coverage while wet. The flake locks into the base as it cures, adding color and built-in texture.

Layer 2

Polyaspartic Topcoat

After scraping and vacuuming loose flake, the clear polyaspartic topcoat seals everything — UV-stable, chemical-resistant, and available in satin, semi-gloss, or high-gloss.
